I loved this new chapter. Really creepy and tense. The plot starts to thicken. And now I have to wait a whole other week to discover what happens next 😅
You’re truly great at this, and I’m not surprised. Someone with your love for reading and fiction understands the power of imagination and compelling storytelling. With this piece, you’ve tapped into something new—you’re discovering your voice in a whole new way. Don't "try writing more in this style".... Do or do not, there is no try 😉.
Thanks, Father Roderick! When I started this novella, I had no idea I had any kind of knack for writing scary stories. I guess I will have to try writing more in this style!

Thank you! I always seem to hedge my bets by saying "I'll try." But, as Master Yoda also says, I must unlearn what I have learned.

This one was so good. Amazing tension!
Thanks, Karina!!
I really like how you're paralleling Metzer's past with the current. And I wonder what's going on with Hopko.
I'm glad that resonates! One of the main themes I'm working with in this novella is how Metzger is processing the past trauma she's been through.
