I’m Hosting an Event at LegendHaven 2025!
Hey there, friends! I’m excited to share that I’ll be appearing at LegendHaven 2025, the friendliest online fiction convention in the world for authors and story lovers! You should come! It's an all-day weekend in October, Sat. 18- Sun. 19.
This will be my fourth year attending the convention and my second year officially hosting an author event. I'll be live on the 19th. I'll announce my actual timeslot soon.
🐲 What’s at LegendHaven?
LegendHaven is packed with meetups, panels, readings, AMAs, live chats, exclusive content, fan rewards, raffles, contests, story previews, and author hangouts. I’d love for you to join me there.
It's all online, and yes, it’s introvert-friendly—you don't even need your camera. You can GIF-reply or live-chat with authors and attendees all day!
🎤 Here's what I’m hosting:
📣 Live AMA session: Ask me anything about my books, writing process, inspirations, or what makes my characters tick. You can pick my brain about the ins-and-outs of writing professionally. Find out what it’s like for a traditionally published nonfiction author to switch gears completely and self-publish a paranormal science fiction series!
🛒 Special Release/Book Launch: During the convention, I’ll be celebrating the upcoming November release of my first fiction book, the paranormal military thriller Field Station Delta. If the cover art for the book is finalized by Oct. 19, I plan to do a cover-art reveal live during the AMA event.

My name is Thomas Salerno—writer, podcaster, educator, museum nerd, and lifelong storyteller. I’m the author of the debut children’s nonfiction book The Riddle of the Tongue-Stones (Word on Fire Votive, 2025). I’m also in the midst of writing science-fiction action-thrillers and epic fantasy adventures. I grew up on a lively concoction of Spielberg movies, superhero cartoons, classic science-fiction, and The Lord of the Rings. I would say don’t put pressure on yourself to shoehorn the faith into every single thing you write. It’s all about being part of the community. I wanted a space where you’re not judged by a standard where you’ve got to be creating classical literature or you have to be creating evangelistic tracts, or you need to be expanding the Christian section at Barnes & Noble.”
