Greetings, friends! Just a brief update to remind you that LegendHaven 2025 is only a few days away! This online fiction convention will be held this weekend for two days of panels, author expos, meet-and-greets, and other fun activities for fiction lovers everywhere.
On Saturday, October 18th, I’ll be participating in two panels:
Star Trek vs. Star Wars (12pm ET)
This panel dives into the mythic sweep of Star Wars and the utopian vision of Star Trek, two universes that shaped modern imagination in radically different ways. Which vision do we need more today? Who tells better stories?
Faith & Fantasy (2pm ET)
How do faith and fantasy fit together? Why does faith keep inspiring bigger and bigger stories, and why do stories inspire greater faith? The secret is Christ, Lord of Lore & Legend, with the gryphon as his symbol of God & Man, Eagle & Lion.
On Sunday, October 19th I’ll be hosting a live meet-and-greet/AMA (ask-me-anything) session at 5pm ET where I’ll be celebrating the upcoming release of my first self-published book, the sci-fi thriller Field Station Detla. I’ll even be sharing an exclusive sneak peek at the cover art!
