How I came to believe in "the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come."

One of the great enduring mysteries of science is the origins of life on earth. Geology and paleontology have revealed that conditions favorable for life arose quite early in our planet’s history, and that the first simple organisms appeared soon after. But exactly how complex molecules and proteins organized themselves into the first living cells remains an enigma. Perhaps it was a miracle.
